Travel Plan Voucher
As part of the Travel Plan each household is entitled to one Blackwater Valley 28 Day MegaRider ticket worth £80. This ticket will allow you to travel across the Blackwater Valley network and is a great way of travelling sustainably in the local area! For more information on this ticket please visit the Stagecoach website.
How does it work?
To obtain your bus voucher, simply purchase the Blackwater Valley 28 Day Megarider ticket (worth £80) and send us proof of receipt to southwoodmewstpc@i-transport.co.uk.
In your email, please provide the following information
- Proof of purchase in the form of a receipt
- Your plot number and address (this is to ensure one voucher per household)
- Proof of address
- Bank details so we can reimburse you
We will then be in touch to confirm details about your Travel Plan voucher.
School Travel
Southwood Infants School
Southwood Infant School is located to the south of the development off Southwood Lane however, can be accessed via foot or cycle along Summit Avenue. A toucan crossing is present between your development and school, providing a safe place to cross Summit Avenue.
Acornwood Pre-School
Acornwood Pre-school is located to the south of the development, off Links Way and Southwood Lane however, it can be accessed via foot or cycle along Summit Avenue. A toucan crossing is present between the development and the pre-school, providing a safe place to cross Summit Avenue.
Parsonage Farm Nursery and Infant School
With both the Nursery and Infant School located to the northwest of the development, next to each other on Cherry Tree Close, off Limes Road, access to these schools is possible via Summit Avenue and Trunk Road. There is a shared footway/cycleway connecting Summit Avenue and Trunk Road which routes under the railway line. It is also possible to reach the schools via Southwood Road, Fleet Road, Ladywood Avenue and Trunk Road, with a footway also provided underneath the railway line.
Footsteps Pre-School
Footsteps Pre-School is located off Fleet Road, to the northeast of the development, to the north of the railway line. Access to the school is possible via the public right of way or via Southwood Road, Cove Road and the West Heath Roundabout.
Cove School
Cove School is located off St John’s Road, to the northeast of the development. Access to the school is possible via Southwood Road and Church Lane using the footway which routes under the railway line.
Cove Junior School
Cove Junior School is located off Fernhill Road, to the northeast of the development. Access to the school is possible via Southwood Road, Church Lane and St John’s Road using the footway which routes under the railway line. The school can also be accessed via Southwood Road, Cove Road, the West Heath Roundabout and Fernhill Road and the footway underneath the trainline further east.
