As part of your development, a Travel Plan has been prepared which sets out the objectives and benefits of the Travel Plan.

This document also sets out the targets and measures which will be in place across the monitoring period. The objectives of the Travel Plan include:

• Reducing Single Occupancy Vehicle (SOV) journeys to the site so to reduce the traffic impact of development and the effect on the environment
• Increasing the number of residents walking, cycling and using public transport; and
• Raising awareness of sustainable travel amongst residents.

Targets will be set following an initial baseline survey and will be agreed with Surrey County Council. The success of the Travel Plan will be measured on whether the targets have been achieved and will be reviewed throughout the 5 year monitoring period.
